well, after a long while of having varying health problems and symptoms, I may have finally narrowed the field down.  I may be gluten-intolerant, and have celiac disease. It would certainly explain why almost EVERYTHING i eat makes me ill.

this is kind of bittersweet, as while I'm happy to finally have an idea of what the possible problem is, I am rather dismayed at how drastically my diet may have to change.

it's amazing how many foods have wheat, barley, and rye in them.

right now, i'm trying to cut gluten out and see if that helps with the symptoms until the test results come back.   I should find out within a few weeks if this is the answer I've been waiting for, or if I need to keep going back for more tests.

wish me luck, guys...

Now that gluten-intolerence is more in the spotlight than ever, there are so many food options everywhere for people who have to be on a gluten-free diet. I know that in my bakery alone, we now carry gluten-free breads and sweets, and as far as I'm concerned, they are as delicious as"normal" options. I don't have a gluten intolerance, but I have found that if I do eat gluten free, I feel much better and healthier anyway. Good luck!
