Nine Day Watch

Based off my favourite books, the Abhorsen Trilogy. If you've ever read them, you may recognize some of the images.

Silver filled, gold filled, and copper wire with a genuine opal chip and white quartz chip, one amazonite round, and a generous sprinkling of Swarovski crystals in Blue Zircon and Emerald as well as Indian Sapphire and Montana colours.

All wirework is done meticulously by hand. I'm pretty picky about these pieces, so I do my best to make sure that there are no sharp edges or pokey bits.

The imagery features a woman, her flowing blond hair sprinkled with crystals and contained by a woven gold net, holding a pale green glass bottle in her hand. She is looking up at a bird in a vision, that is carrying what looks like a message. Those who have read the books will understand when I say that she is looking through a sheet of ice, hence the blue crystals. She wears a crown of opal and white quartz (the closest I could get to moonstones!).

The whole necklace is a torc style, so there is no clasp. It has enough give to get it around your neck and enough stability to stay in place and in shape.
